Thank you for supporting poverty relief in Southwest Missouri with a gift to Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation (OACAC). We appreciate your generosity!

2nd Annual MO Mac & Cheese Fest - We hosted the first (sold out) MO Mac & Cheese Fest in 2019 which was great fun! We look forward to bringing back the excitement for the 3rd annual event in 2021. This year, we're doing things a little differently but still connecting people with delicious mac & cheese with proceeds supporting our work of alleviating the causes and conditions of poverty in the Ozarks.

We've teamed up with some local eateries to offer a Buy One, Get One (BOGO) card. The sale begins 11/30/20 and the card is valid through 10/31/21. Click here to get your GOUDA BOGO card!

Grant Assistance Fund: If you'd like to support poverty relief but don't have a specific focus for your donation, a gift to the OACAC Grant Assistance Fund is a great option. Funding can be accessed by each of our programs listed below as a way to fill the gaps in services. Donations to this fund are flexible and provide a safety net.

If you would like your donation to be directed to a specific purpose, here are the programs we offer:

  • CSBG Neighborhood/Community Centers: Donations may help expand special projects, meet emergency needs, and help people achieve self-sufficiency in our 10-county service area.
  • Family Planning: Donations provide critically needed medications for patients at or below 100% of the poverty level.
  • Foster Grandparent Program: Donations provide healthy meals and other resources to income-eligible grandparent volunteers.
  • Head Start/Early Head Start: Donations support the health and well being of kids ages 0-5.
  • Housing Assistance: Donations provide resources to affirmatively further fair housing in our communities.
  • Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program: Donations may be used to pay reconnect fees for customers who have had utilities disconnected.
  • Weatherization: Donations help pay for necessary repairs on a home following Weatherization services.
